Automotive Design


I designed machined, forged and welded components for car suspensions. To ensure my designs survived harsh conditions, I determined how components can fail by processing road data, guiding FE analyses, and participating in vehicle tuning. 

I played a lead role in inventing a novel shock absorber, for the Chevrolet ZR2 pickup, unlike anything else on the market. After helping secure the business, I brought the idea towards production and tuned a prototype alongside vehicle dynamics engineers in real off-road environments. The idea and product now garner praise from vehicle enthusiasts around the world.

Testing & FEA


Using computer simulation (FEA) I determined ways to make simpler and better products with durability, strength, topology optimization and stiffness analyses.

Outside of the virtual FEA world, I’ve conducted impact testing, programmed DAQ and manufacturing cells.
